Snow
It snowed in Raleigh. Really. No lie. Colleen and the kids went outside and made a snowman.
It was an eight inch tall snowman, but a snowman nonetheless. Preparations for our exciting Thanksgiving weekend are in full swing. We are spending the Holiday alone, just the four of us, but we intend to make the most of it. We are going to decorate the tree and we are going to take a picture for our Christmas card.
We are pretty excited to see the new president around here. Violet talks about Barack Obama all the time. Every time we see his face on the television or on the computer, she even claimed that she voted for Barack Obama. Thanks to ACORN she was actually able to vote this year no questions asked (I jest). We have subscribed to the weekly video address that he intends on having. You can see it here. It’s nice to think that after eight years intelligence will occupy the White House again. I had romantic thoughts of taking the family to see the inauguration until I heard the estimate that there may be as many as 4 million people at the event.
