Today, Violet wanted to have Colleen to herself for a while. Colleen had put Mason down for a nap, but he wasn’t falling asleep. Violet was mad that Colleen was going to go back in to Mason’s room and not pay attention to her. Violet pleaded. Violet said, “I’ll sing him a lullaby.” She sang Mason a lullaby. That did not work. Violet decided to draw Mason a picture, an example of what Mason would look like sleeping.
The visual aid did not help. Mason did not go back to sleep.
