Wading Pool Afternoons
In the bathroom last night, Mason pulls something out of a drawer and says, “Look at that. Wow.” Said it like three times in a row, so we weren’t just hearing things. Wow, look at that. Said it all day today.
After an hour or so of running around the front yard, going for a walk, playing in the wading pool, and “sweeping” the front porch, we sat down for a juice pop. This is one of my favorite things to do, sit on the front porch and watch them eat juice pops. Used to be my favorite thing to do was to go out to a show, listen to music, and get my drink on. My, times have changed.
Bridal season is in full swing, Colleen is working her fingers to the bone, and then has to deal with the mess that the kids and I make. I try to clean up, but, come on, I’m a dude, I don’t clean very thoroughly, it’s not in my blood.
Did you look at the video in my last post? Mason has been really perfecting his dance moves. There’s something wired in his head that when he hears a beat, of any sort, he starts bobbing his head uncontrollably.
