Our new favorite CD.
There’s part of the cabinetry that is not off-limits to the children. Can you guess where that might be? Everyone’s feeling better, except the gushing runny nose of Mason. There’s always something going on with his face.
I’m feeling better since my last post. Some of you were worried about my sanity/happiness. I’m fine. Melodramatic. It’s just a bunch to deal with at some times. Funny how hard it seems. We have it so easy compared to some. Why would I ever have the right to complain about anything. There’s just so much more to worry about when you are doing more than just caring for yourself. I have two very small, defenseless people that I have to care for now. I just wonder sometimes how we would do things if I wasn’t able to bring home a paycheck, or Colleen got sick, or one of the kids got sick. The first thirty-four years of my life were carefree compared to the things I think about now.
Today was mainly pictures of Violet. I may have mentioned that we were having issues with her. It was nothing serious, we just needed to introduce a little more discipline in to the house. Last week she had one day where she had three time-outs, since then life has been a little subdued. Now, if we are having a hard time with getting her to do something, we just bring up the idea of a time-out and she does as she is told to do. What a nice, obedient little girl.
The kids and I went to the park yesterday. Violet was on the swing, and every time she would swing forward, she would scream at the top of her lungs, “WHEEEEEEEE!!!”
You might notice the, ever-so-faint, black eye that Violet has in some of these pictures. She took a sippy-cup to the face yesterday. It takes talent to drop a sippy-cup on your eyeball.
Today, prayers go out to both Uncle Lou and Grandpa Loren! We hope you guys get better soon!
